PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Vendor Due Diligence

By now, you probably know that the NCUA requires that all federally-insured credit unions have a Vendor Management Program.  What you may not know is that the NCUA also expects credit unions to develop their own, internal vendor management expertise – even if you’re using a vendor for most of the due diligence.  After all, what good is getting due diligence information about a particular vendor if you don’t know what to do with it?

In this 1.5 hour Program, you will learn:

  • What the NCUA expects your credit union to know about vendor management;
  • How to ace an NCUA vendor management exam; and
  • Why you need to develop your credit union’s own, internal vendor management expertise and how to do it.

Our speaker  will walk you through the relevant NCUA guidance on vendor management and will show you the forms and discuss the procedures that you can use to address all of the NCUA’s expectations.

So if you’ve been through a vendor management Exam and are dreading the next one, if you’re preparing for your first vendor management exam, or if you understand the need to develop your credit union’s own, internal expertise and want some advice about how to get started, this is the webinar for you.

Join our speaker, noted credit union attorney Daniel R. Loritz of Okun Loritz, LLP, as he shares the tips and tricks you will need to (1) develop your own vendor management program from scratch or (2) take control of your existing program and do more with the due diligence information you’re getting from your current vendor management company.
