Meet the presenter, Chad Helminak:
As Impact Director of the Filene Research Institute, Chad takes the best of Filene’s research and innovation and works with credit unions to implement key findings that will impact their members and organization in positive and meaningful ways.

Chad brings nearly 10 years of credit union experience to Filene and most recently served as Vice President of Development at the Wisconsin Credit Union League. Over the years, he's led and advised on state and nationwide projects involving credit union advocacy, public relations, member outreach programs, and young professional development.

He was certified as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) in 2009 and has since mentored CUDE programs for credit union employees in the United States and Africa. A self-professed true believer in credit unions, Chad also co-founded “The Disclosures” music education project where he wrote and performed songs about credit union philosophy and financial education across the country at industry conferences and youth events.

Chad holds a BA in Communication from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and in his spare time enjoys traveling, music production, and pizza.
