Meet the presenters:
Mike Dorsett is President of Portfolio Performance LLC, a consulting firm serving credit unions throughout the United States in the areas of loan participations and organic loan growth. Mike has assisted both buyers and sellers in over eighty auto and MBL loan participations over the past two years, totaling more than $300M. Portfolio Performance is registered with the NASBA and conducts educational webinars for continuing education credits in all states. He has recently served as a speaker at the CUNA CFO Conference and conducted a webinar for the NCUA on loan participations. Mike’s education and professional development includes The Ohio State University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Covey Leadership Center and The Center for Creative Leadership.
Amanda TrueBlood is the Economic Development Specialist for the NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives (OSCUI), where she helps OSCUI support the success of minority depository institutions and small, low-income and newly chartered credit unions through training, consulting, grants and loans, and partnership opportunities. Amanda began her career with NCUA in 2000 as a Field Examiner in Region IV. Throughout her career, she has been a Principal Examiner, Specialized Lending Subject Matter Examiner (SME), and a Record Keeping and Internal Controls SME. Amanda holds a Master of Human Relations degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies, and an Associate in Arts degree in Accounting.
John Pamer is Chief Executive Officer of the $36 Million Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union in Concord, California. John has been involved with lending in various capacities since 1991 and been a purchaser of Participations loans of various types for over ten years. Diablo Valley currently holds a participation portfolio of over $5.5 Million consisting of direct and indirect autos, as well as church loans. John has a BSBA in Finance from the Ohio State University, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Phoenix. In addition, he attended the CUES Leadership Institute at Harvard University. John also serves as the Committee Chairman for the Credit Union Sactown Run.
