Meet the presenter, Lawrence Torres:

Larry Torres is the Associate Regional Director of Programs (ARDP) for the National Credit Administration in its Region 2 Office. As the ARDP, he is responsible for managing the region’s examination and supervision program in California. He was previously the ARDP in Region 5, responsible for the states of Alaska, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Utah, and Wyoming. He has held various other positions within NCUA, including examiner, problem case officer, and supervisory examiner.

Mr. Torres is a retired U.S. Marine. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Chapman University in 1987 and his Master’s degree from Boston University in 1989. He earned his Certified Internal Auditor certificate in 1991 and Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1992.
