eTrain: Financial Counseling for Loan Officers
“People Helping People”
It’s not just a catchy phrase. It’s the fundamental reason why credit unions exist. It’s what we do best, especially in this challenging economy when our members may need a helping hand in managing their finances.
Learn what you can do to help your members establish or re-establish good credit history, streamline their financial management, and ease their cash flow crunch.
Credit union lending authority Rick Menton will show you:
- The challenges of today’s lending environment
- Why financial counseling should be part of a loan officer’s job description
- How to lend to and counsel your younger members
- The importance of reviewing credit reports with members
- Ways to use a financial counseling model with your members
