Today, as the news media pays close attention to credit union issues ranging from positive topics like credit union growth to delicate matters such as executive compensation, this webinar will provide a foundation to help credit unions better respond to media attention and build positive awareness.

Media Strategies for Your Credit Union is designed for credit union CEOs, senior staff and marketing professionals who’d like to learn new approaches, refresh their knowledge of media relations, and share insights about strategies that work.

Meet the presenter, Henry Kertman: Henry Kertman has been responsible for a comprehensive public relations program designed to broaden understanding and support for credit unions and enhance government relations activities at the California Credit Union League since 1993. He has more than 30 years of experience in public relations, both with trade associations and in higher education. Prior to his work with credit unions he served as a college public relations director and English/Journalism instructor. Henry earned his master’s degree in Education at Northern Arizona University.

Tina Ramos-Ingold:
As the Leagues’ public affairs and community outreach specialist, Tina assists credit unions’ public relations efforts and helps to increase awareness of the League’s community outreach resources. Prior to that, she worked as the League’s publications specialist/writer. She also was a community/education reporter for 11 years for various newspapers, including the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Orange County Register, and Fontana Herald News. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
