eTrain: The 5300 Call Report

Credit Union Online is a web-based program used by credit unions and state supervisory agencies to capture and display credit union information. It is comprised of two parts: the Credit Union Profile and the Online 5300 Call Report. This online system replaced the software-based 5300 data collection program as of September 1, 2009. 
In this webinar/training session, John Dock from the NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives will give credit unions of all sizes an overview of the current version of Credit Union Online, including this information:

Meet the presenter, John Dock, CPA:
An Economic Development Specialist (EDS) for the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), John Dock is responsible for promoting the growth of credit unions that provide financial services to low-income and underserved communities. He is a proponent of new credit unions.  As part of the NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives (OSCUI), he helps administer the Community Development Revolving Loan Fund and manages the Small Credit Union Program (SCUP).  He develops and conducts individualized training programs for NCUA staff, credit union officials, state supervisors, and outside organizations on emerging issues. Mr. Dock also provides technical assistance and helps credit unions find financial assistance to implement their future plans.

Mr. Dock began his career in 1983 within Arizona government (accountant, auditor, and the Maricopa County Treasurer’s Accountant) and joined NCUA in 1994.  He received a bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University.  John still maintains his Certified Public Accountant’s license in Arizona.
