With the increased emphasis on fair lending, it is extremely important that employees involved in the Regulation C/Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data gathering and reporting are well-trained and accurate.  HMDA data will serve as the basis upon which supervisory fair lending examinations will be conducted.

This webinar will provide a comprehensive discussion of the regulation’s data collection and reporting requirement, and explanations of common errors and violations.

Meet the presenter:
Kristen Tatlock is Vice President of COMPASS 4 CUs, LLC, a Credit Union Service Organization owned by Belvoir FCU, where she also serves as Senior Compliance Officer.  COMPASS specializes in providing compliance and regulatory assistance to credit unions of all sizes.  In her role with COMPASS, Kristen assists credit unions with general compliance support, website and marketing reviews, BSA independent testing, policy and procedure review, disclosure and forms review, examination assistance, and training for credit union staff and volunteers.

Kristen began her career with COMPASS in February 2011.  Prior to joining the COMPASS team, she was Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs for the Virginia Credit Union League, where she was employed for over 20 years.  She is a CUNA certified Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) and a certified Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS).  Kristen has presented programs for CUNA’s national Regulatory Compliance Schools, as well as numerous state Leagues around the country.  Kristen is a graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
