Once you know the basics of IRA rules and procedures, it’s time to step up to the next level of serving your members’ IRA needs. This six-part video training, presented by IRA expert John Baptista, Jr., can be viewed as an entire day of training or as one module at a time.

Designed for those who want to expand beyond basic IRA skills, this study of more advanced issues includes:

  • Review of basic Individual Retirement Arrangement (IRA) knowledge
  • Periodic Payments
  • Transfers and Rollovers
  • Required Minimum Distributions (RMD)
  • Required Beginning Date (RBD)
  • Death situations and beneficiary options
  • Excess contributions
  • Conversions
  • Reporting requirements and documentation
  • Activities within the seminar to reinforce your learning
  • “Apply Your Knowledge” worksheets to review what you have learned

Plus you’ll get a link to the newest IRS Publication 520, the official IRA guidelines. The instructor will show you how to use this important resource to find answers to your members’ questions. You can print it, save it to your desktop, or both.

Whether you train in a group or on your own, you’ll love the convenience of getting IRA training when it fits your schedule. With the seminar’s six easy-to-manage sections, you can view the seminar all at once, a section at a time, or even at your staff meetings. It’s your choice. You can even pause the video as you use its built-in learning activities or discuss key points.

Approximate length of video:  3 1/2 hours
